Kim Headlee

2011 M.M. Composition, Interdisciplinary Digital Arts Media & Performance


Kim graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in May 2009 with a BA in Music. She continued her educational adventures at ASU and received a master's in music composition with a concentration in the school of Arts, Media and Engineering. This interdisciplinary program offers invaluable opportunities to collaborate with professionals from many diverse fields, each bringing to the table a new perspective and thus maximizing creativity. 

Her main research focus is developing technologies for music therapy and music education. Kim created this organization to bring the benefits of the research to the field, and the field experience and knowledge to the research, in order maximize productivity in the right direction. She is indebted to many incredible minds and collaborators for helping her along with continually growing path.

In time not spent on musical endeavors, she likes to bake cookies, spend time with her family, keep up with Dr. House, and visit the beach as much as possible.
